Pheiros honestly wasn't sure who Merlin was talking about. Young and white sounded like Arbiter's daughter, but he wasn't sure who Pig might be. But he got a sudden spike of anxiety in his chest at the thought of admitting that. What if he thought he was lying? Or stupid? 

So he just nodded and said: Oh, um, yeah it does. If he didn't ask anymore questions about it, then all would be fine and they could move on. 

To help move things along, he quickly added: I think there might be something to hunt this way. As he spoke, he turned and headed down the soft incline.
