@Keyni if you have time? :3 (other tags for reference)
Winter, ironically, felt suprisingly colder nowadays.
Ever since that bear invasion spilt blood in the glen and took the lives of their majority, the warmth and content that Lunaria had clung onto firmly became as cold as the seasonal weather. A passing that ecspecially stood out to her was Toad's death -- a newly found friend stolen from Luna's arms by mother nature's rage and cruelty.
And no, she wouldn't be able to see her smile ever again.
Despite it all, tears were not shed from the moon nymph that day. The shock of it all prevented any sudden release of emotions, and it was instead replaced by what felt like a hole punched into her chest. She was not there when Toad was fighting for her life -- not there to fight by her side, nor with anyone else who was there when it happened. Whatever Luna could've done, with what tiny vessel of a body she'd been born with, she would've dove in to aid her packmates -- and yet she couldn't....
It was earlier this morning when she decided to leave the glen and go do some scouting. Her searches specifically lied in trying to find @Charles, who's scent led outside of the glen (hopefully meaning he had actually survived despite his disappearance), and @Bronco, who Luna was aware still resided in the Caldera with his family. The raven may have been broken in a way that hurt like hell right now, but there was still hope left to flicker in her heart. Whatever was needed to bring the glen back together, she'd do her best to help -- and she wanted to be around her freinds during that restoration.
With Amelia gone, her desperation to keep the people she cared about close became stronger. Charles, Keyni, Bronco -- during a time like this, she just wanted to be close to her freinds right now...
