Moonspear kunnajak ⋠

Moonspear ailed. Opalia's paws were tired, and jaw aching from stress. Heart simply worn. The news had been everything awful lately, one blow after the next. Her reflexive response was to help those who remained on the guard.. but it already reminded her of those that had fallen well before their time, and it was only the beginning. She had lost too much before, knew the ugly lengths of grief, and what it could do. A strange, aching peace was threatening to settle in the aftermath. But she didn't trust it at all.

She was attempting to wind down for a rest, but found she couldn't relax yet, her mind buzzing anxiously still. She snaked a familiar trail, and found fresh pawsteps of the medic when she did.. which, given recent events, she warranted more interest than usual. Opalia followed this trail though it went against her first intent to unwind, she was too curious, and felt she should touch base with her. She was not sure what she came upon exactly, though, and sensing the sorrows, stayed quiet.
