The familiar warmth flooded over as Shikoba's body became so close to his. It was as if electricity had struck him; but when it had, there was no pain. In its place would be comfort, joy, and also a third feeling he could not quite name.
Inutsuk could smell the scent of the season even more-so now. It was distracting. Very distracting.
He was soon able to tell that it was for his mate as well. Rumbles filled the air. Then her teeth came to graze his neck, asking... no.. pleading. The man couldn't help but play along.
Swinging his snout over her crown, he nipped at her ear, gentle enough to not draw blood. His hind paws began to dance, carrying themselves to the side so that his flank was against her own. Not a single inch of space would be left between them. He wouldn't allow it.
By now, growls of his own could be heard. They were hollow and crude. What tone would be used with anger was now used instead to voice desire.
