His blood heated and need pooled in his stomach. He had imagined this too, but again, his imagination hardly compared to the reality. He pulled her tighter against him and briefly considered never letting her go. 

He didn't let her pull back much when they finally broke away from each other. He nuzzled into her cheek as she spoke, very much drunk on the duskfire leader.
