Beyond the borders he did tread. A white backdrop against a forest floor. The colored leaves beginning to fall and swirl as they did so. He did not fit even more so than usual. Once the bitter winds of snow began to twirl and swirl around him. Then he would be free to hide amongst it's boughs. To finally be at an advantage camoflauge at least.
Artok's air was a bit frosty in the air. It was not cold enough to bite yet, but soon enough winter would be upon them. He had recently smelled his lover on the borders, and it made him paranoid. Was the youth trying to encroach on his life? OR was he just that obsessed with him. Artok wasn't certain, but it was a strange feeling. He actually sort of cared which one it was.

Artok has a permanent limp in his front right foreleg.
