There was a peculiar skip in her steps as she found herself traipsing in and out of the trunks of the trees. They were lightly interspersed throughout the forest, which made it easier for light to filter through their changing leaves and ignite the floor in shades of fiery orange, faded yellows, and crisp reds. Her mind fluttered with the prospect of Redhawk Caldera, and she could hardly stand still. The Savoy girl was am impulsive creature, by nature, but she wasn’t entirely air-headed. There was a sense of nervousness to her when she imagined being surrounded by other wolves. Siv had lived her entire life on her own – at least her adult life – and she didn’t always know how to behave in a socially acceptable manner. Still, she had been offered the chance to become part of something more, and she had gladly taken it. Already, she had a blossoming respect for Fox that she could not swallow. Siv imagined that it was how she was supposed to feel for her leader. She had yet to meet the rusty-furred female’s mate Peregrine, however. The coywolf girl wondered if it would happen before long… if he would even approve that Fox had invited Siv to join the pack. It was a good kind of nervous. She liked the Teekon Wilds, and she planned on staying for as long as she could. Trotting through the depths of the forest, the honey-colored female allowed a smile to curl her dark lips upwards. And even though she was alone, her cheeks flushed pink in color. |
