Ady knew why he didn't worry. He was too busy worrying about her and he was a rather capable wolf. So he also knew he could take care of  himself and her. Still, even the best wolves could have things happen and she worried.

She listened with rapt attention. It sounded simple, but she wondered if it really would be. Can we even break ground right now without breaking our footpaws?

She stared at the frozen ground and then his broad back, wondering. What a time to be making a pack. She wasn't upset about it, and would rather have a place to settle, but it was concerning given the time frame they had.

It would be good yes, but what of flooding? Is there enough high ground to keep ourselves safe?

She didn't know much about  nature, but she did know that water grew with rain, with snow.
