With a soft whine, Sylianos scurried out of the den and along the scent path his father and brother had left behind, and the thrumming of his heart only calmed when he was able to see his brother once more.

He was so focused on reaching them that he didn't notice when Arsenio and Saleem paused, resulting in Sylianos running straight into the side of his father's muzzle when the man bent to nudge Saleem forward. Toppling onto his backside, Silly shook his head and sneezed loudly, for now rather oblivious to the stranger that his brother was cautiously approaching.
