All that motion coupled with his round belly was enough to draw the boy into sleep. When Nazair had found a warm place to tuck himself, he yawned and nestled his face deeper into the puppy fur of his brother. The twins looked peaceful in the safety of their family den. They looked as though they belonged to each other.
It was not a dream that pulled Nazair out to his sea of sleep. It was the darkness in his eyes and the coziness of his siblings. The only sound to signal his slumber was a wheezing snore that lifted from his snout.
