Argent’s previous guardianship of the borders had been placed on the back burner the past few weeks—his focus now upon hunting for both @Sialuk and @Elentari. Sialuk held many suitors, but his initial hurt of her decision to seek the arms of many during her season had waned over time. He had told her once his love was not fragile—and while it was his children he wished for her to carry, she had yet to make such a claim upon him—not in the matter of mateship, at any rate.

Elentari had chosen him, though, and as such, the man held both awe and apprehension at the thought of being a father. After placing a kiss upon the night star’s cheek and offering her a plump pheasant, the man was once more upon the trail for game, eager to also fill the belly of the pack’s Star.

The graceful pale form of one he did not recognize drew his attention, and with his own pace soft and undemanding, he gave a low croon of greeting, icy eyes sweeping over the woman.
