Ouroboros Spine drenched in vanilla twilight

At the turn of Tinnivik, Yuralria felt her paws grow restless. 

@Ipiktok and @Salaksartok - brothers she had known only by name until now - had returned as men. She didn't quite understand what anaa had meant by that, other than they had each ventured from the spine as round-bellied boys and come back as young hunters. Often when Yuralria would bring @Vairë small prey of her own, their mealtimes would be filled with questions of the unknown.

It was on one such journey that the girl wondered what was really out there beyond Moonglow. As she set a plump marmot at the ulaq's entrance, something made her pause her routine. She couldn't help but recall the stricken face of little @Nutuyikruk - who probably wasn't so little now. Did she know about her mother's death? Was she even alive herself?

The thought made her sick to her stomach and still she wondered, her mind filled with a thousand possibilities that she itched to answer. Roaming further from the village, she searched idly for the scent of @Nantahala in hopes that perhaps her sister could provide some insight. Her periodic absences had not gone unnoticed, though Yuralria had never thought to ask where exactly she went.
