With Nasamiituuq too busy to spend much time with her, Waawaashkeshi was beginning to spend much more time on her own. While she had been excited by the gathering of so many packs, it could be rather intimidating.

A song carried by the wind caught her attention - if it could really be called that. It reminded her of a crow trying to carry a tune. But a song was a song, and she followed the trail it left for her.
