More and more time was being spent at the lake. Kekoa would not speak of why, more often than not he would no longer speak.
He had found himself missing sleep, running from the nightmares that haunted him. Left exhausted he avoided interaction with other's. It was not worth the pain.
Settling down at the water's edge he stared down into the liquid. How deep could it go? How far could he swim? Such thoughts were shook out of his head.
Abraham's words made sense to him now. The water held value, it was sacred. Kekoa swore it could hold visions.
With this thought he visited the lake daily, staring down and waiting. Often something did appear to him; a figment of his imagination, but he felt it should be valued nonetheless.
