Wapun Meadow this is our celebration

though the meadow had seemed to settle some for the winter, there was a small collection of does.

she watched as they cut through the land with grace. she wondered how many times these does had cleared through here. had mothers and grandmothers before them walked these paths?

one doe chanced the creek. others kept watch over her.

there was an untouched peace here that she was not keen to disturb — and no herd of does seemed too worried about the small girl that watched them.

she only hoped none around got the idea to ruin this moment.
