The deed is done and now Leto leaves the stone quarter a new woman. She hopes Soto will be pleased with the news.

Craving a sense of fresh air, she trots to the borders of the basin. The scent of Castel is still heavy on her thick fur, the scent of her heat still underlying. But to her it should surely be done now, should it not? It has served it's purpose.

She yawns, the setting sun nearly disappearing behind the horizon now. Soon she will return to her den, curl beside her serpent and sleep until morning. She has been thoroughly exhausted.
