Ravensblood Forest just came to say goodnight

The first to offer himself: a tall shadow, rosewood-carved between the trees like some ancient weatherworn tribute. The gleam in his green eyes was sharper, though; no monument, only a man. Blue knew what he wanted.

Pale ears pulled forward, betraying her interest, she stepped closer. Still she cast a critical gaze over his figure, searching for some flaw, some pedestal on which to mount her rejection. But the rosy sheen she felt over her eyes was truly more violent magenta; Blue could find no fault in him, blissfully ignorant of her own ignorance.

A smirk pulled at her lips, her expression more inviting now but perhaps still a touch skeptical. Come to chase me out? Blue questioned playfully, aware that his scent was not among the sparse trails of the forest's regulars.
