Why was Towhee invested enough to send him inquiring, he wondered? Was she considering joining Killdeer there rather than here? It actually made a lot of sense to him that she might want to settle down there, considering just how much time they spent camping there. But he had to ignore a second jolt of jealousy as he eyed his elder nephew.
What about Moonspear, though?he wondered, gesturing at the nearby slopes.
