So these Saatsine - Lanzadoii - names did indeed carry much meaning. The history, the previous generations of all that came before, and the responsibility of those who will come after. A great burden, a great pride that took courage to carry. 

Perhaps. Perhaps she did long for a Lanzadoii name. Or perhaps she was not ready to be so grounded into the deep legacy of the caribou hunters. Not yet, evidently. Not until she herself could find proof of her competence and capability. 

Run for a little while longer, Other Shore decided. Maybe learn a thing or two along the way. The future was not solid; it was quite uncertain. She would remain with the Saatsine so long as she was welcome, but she did not quite know if she could carry the weight of a Lanzadoii name at the moment.
