solharr stood at the front of the pack, his broad shoulders cutting through the early morning mist as he led them towards the quarry. the scent of stone and earth thickened in the air as they drew closer to the rocky outcrop, the land beneath them rough and untamed.

this will be ours, solharr’s voice carried on the wind, firm but not forceful, as he glanced back to ensure they followed. his amber eyes swept over his pack, resting on each face, meeting the eyes of those who trusted him to lead. the stone remembers, he continued, his words like a quiet oath, here, we will stand. no ghosts of the past will haunt us, only the future we will carve from the earth itself.

he paused as they reached the base of the quarry, his gaze lingering on the jagged stones, the towering cliffs that surrounded them. this is where we build, he said, his voice low but resolute. and here, we will be more than we were. turning his back to the pack, solharr’s figure became a silhouette against the rising sun, casting long shadows over the land. make it home.
