Though, with how she was raised to be everything as a woman should be in her culture, she had learned it all well. Had mastered it. Manipulated it. It was only the name of Nightingale which she carried that stood out among others. She had meant it to. Wanted it to. She would not allow herself to be hidden to the shadows among other courtesan. She must be perfection.

Those who might find the offerings of the foreign women quite exotic and pleasing. No matter. It only meant Nightingale would draw in all the attention herself. Alot of work. He was not a man overwhelming impressive to look at and the heavily scarring to his face did not help. Yet he was stout and fit. A man of heavy, grounded build. She would be foolish not to stand at his side.
