She already adored Pala’s little boys, which was why she found it so damned hard to understand how their father could have so little interest in them. Her heart might’ve broken for them, though Tiuttuk’s eyes turned steely as she silently vowed to more than make up for Chaudry’s lost love.

For now, I would like to get back to the borders to keep an eye out. But just call for me if want to take that break, she urged, or if you need anything at all.
