Solenya’s insight impressed her. She was thoughtful, perceptive. Kirain found herself growing increasingly fond of her ideas, letting them take root alongside her own.

When Solenya came to a stop, Kirain paused beside her, head tilting slightly in curiosity.

The word lingered in the air, unexpected and strange. It left her suspended in thought for several moments. Following Solenya’s gaze, her eyes settled on the delicate flower tucked behind her ear.

Soulbloom…? she echoed, brows drawing together. Like… a flower that connects to your soul?

She turned the word over on her tongue, tasting its weight and wonder.

Soulbloom, she repeated again, this time in a murmur, as if trying to feel the shape of it in her spirit.
