Ankyra Sound you can’t save me

Treepie sucked in a breath as the story began on quite the tragic note. As the tale unraveled, she admired Sobeille’s innovation, even though it was more than a little macabre. Her heart went out to that poor baby seal, not to mention its mother, but she understood Sobeille had done what she must to save those wolf pups. Few would’ve been so cunningly resourceful.

She sensed that Sobeille drew some sort of connection between her cruelty and the fall of Sappique. Tiuttuk put a pin in that thought, though. There was something much more pressing, a part of the story that did not come after several beats of silence filled by childish yammerings and the crash of the surf.

What happened to those babies? Pie asked, eyes flitting to the two little ones accompanying them now before cutting back to Sobeille’s beautiful face.
