Ludovic followe the trail the best he could, taking advice where he needed it and looking to Valiant with a purely helpless look on occasion. But, they made it in the end. Ludovic was surprised, the sounds nothing like the birds he knew.. he couldn't see them just yet, but felt sure that they had to look just as strange.

Snapping from his pondering, he was quick to lower to the ground at Valiant's instruction. Ludo listened to the plan with quiet nods, and while he was rather nervous to be left on his own he felt it was best to trust the older man over his nerves. Alright. He agreed, lowering his voice to a whisper.

Waiting for Valiant to begin stalking away, he eyed the clearing ahead of them. All he had to do now was crawl forward.. quietly.
