Worrying that she'd left the area entirely, Katmai surged past the heavy borders and into the remnants of her musk. He and Kindle had made sure to mark this area with extra frequency, not wanting any passing wolves to mistake their unwelcomeness. To his relief, he detected no trace of trespasssers as he search the woman out.

"Haedwig?" he called, relieved when he caught a whiff of a fresher scent on the breeze. It seemed she'd not left them after all.
