Blackfeather Woods Won't Wake From This Dream

Saying nothing more, Kove began following after the darker male. His pace was nether quick nor slow, but moderate enough to stay near the obsidian man. When he heard the question, no immediate answer was given. The thought had never crossed his mind, really. He'd seen the priestess, heard of her pack and such, and requested to join once he found it was rather interesting. Interesting, grand, and nothing like his birth place. It wasn't bright and cheerful, but dark and mysterious. Everything about the area, and the lupines within it, seemed to catch hold of him and pull him in. He could have fought it, and yet he didn't. Why? Well, not even the ghost himself was all too sure.

"Everything appears to be appealing here," he finally answered, words simple and slow. It was as if he was asking himself if that was the real reason to why he'd chose to stay, or if there was some underlying reason. "What makes it 'beneficial' to me is the atmosphere alone. Nothing like what I'd always been surrounded with. Nothing is boring or all too predictable here." It wasn't a real answer in his mind, but was all he could think up. What truly made it beneficial was something he'd need to find out for himself later on, but for now his half-assed answer was satisfying enough—or, at least, it was to him.
