Nefarious took the time to study Kaskara, having not had much of a chance to do so in the meeting given that there had been more important things afoot than being able to recognize faces. The Beta bore a coat of chocolate brown with a dusting of silver along her back. The only reason that the shaman was able to recognize her as Scimitar's sibling was thanks to Saber who had introduced himself as their brother. Having a family oriented and dominated pack was something that Nefarious was used too considering that Akkuma was largely Kesuk ran. That, at least, was something that Nefarious found to be familiar and subtly the shaman drew comfort from it. The Beta introduced herself, giving her name formally. It was not the first time that he had heard it, but it was only polite that they exchange names even if they'd heard the others' name in the lips of others. "Nefarious," The Kesuk gave her in return, offering her a soft smile as he settled upon his haunches keeping his stance neutral. Neutral was what Nefarious was good at, after all.

"That is correct," The shaman replied, counting the weeks that he'd been apart of Swiftcurrent Creek in his head. Though the time-line was a loose one he reckoned that he'd been in their ranks for about a month give or take. Subtly, a brow rose when Kaskara spoke about his silence at the meeting, and then further inquired about his opinion regarding the whole Paarthurnax and Shadow issue. He had opinions on it, sure, but he had withheld them at the meeting because of his newness an the fact that he was not sure if some of the senior members would have appreciated him stepping in when it was not necessarily his place.

"I have spoken with Paar personally," The shaman began, "She was one of the first wolves that I spoke with upon my arrival," Nefarious took a pause here, salmon pink tongue snaking put to draw across his lips and nose once. "I believe we are doing the right thing, protecting her and her young, and keeping Shadow away from them. He is arrogant in that he thinks that because he is their blood that he has any rights to them. I was a small child, lost and hungry when my adoptive father found me. He was more of a father to me than my biological one ever was." Granted, Nefarious did not remember anything of his parents but he reasoned that there must be a good reason for it. "In reality, blood is nothing more than genetics. It means no more and does not grant anyone rights they do not deserve. There is a reason she ran from him, after all."
