He hadn't ever encountered one personally, but even before smelling Peregrine he had known what they could do. He would just make sure to be more vigilant and hope to never come across one of the little black-and-white stinkers.

Somnia suggested that they stick to the vicinity, and Elwood nodded. He wasn't up for a large-scale hunt; the thought of flushing a couple of rabbits out of their burrow was appealing to him, actually. It required a different kind of technique than large prey, and the two of them could make a tag team effort. "I know of some bunnies that should be hanging out nearby -- let's do that," he suggested, and once he had Somnia's approval, he turned and trotted in that direction.
