Rushing blood of all things

Adlartok crawled himself to the borders of the glacier. He had run and run until he couldn't run anymore. Succumbing to his injuries he had lain in a meadow for days. He was lucky that no one found him, and now here he lay at the edge of the pack he called home with bruises and wounds and green pus caking the one that was tight on his back. The wound that the female had ripped open on his back, his sinew and flesh and some of his muscle peeking out for the whole world to see. He was beyond furious, and he imagined that was the only thing keeping him going. His adrenaline pushing him to live another day, just so he could spit on the name of Malachi and tell him to take his pack and shove it.

How dare the male invite him into a pack, where he was never welcome to begin with. Because clearly she was his mate if she blatantly attacked another member? Why else could she get away with it other than that, even after he had told her he was given a home by Malachi. As far as he knew only alphas were allowed to override other alphas so she had to be another alpha. He lifted his muzzle to howl and as his song ended he crashed to the ground. Blood and pus and fur littering the ground beneath him, golden eyes spinning around as he fought to stay conscious.
