Adlartok was beyond the plain of consciousness now. He was unable to know what was going around him, or what was being done to him. So far gone inside himself, that it was as if he was already gone. Had he heard the alpha speak, he probably would have laughed. There was no talking to the female who had attacked him. He didn't even know her name. All he knew was that she had to be Malachi's queen and her betrayal signaled Malachi's and the child would not bow before a leader who did not honor his word. However, this was all lost as he lay inbetween life and death and simply waited for the outcome.
