Roadkill licked her lips, slobbering in the last drops of water loudly. She glanced at the water, eager to take another sip, but deciding that she'd had enough for the moment. A sip of water didn't seem worth risking another couple o' scars for. When the wolfdog took a step forward and spoke again, Roadkill remained still. He was right; she had no idea where she was, at all. She knew little about packs, but she knew stuff about warriors, even though assassins were a fairly new thing to her.

Another thing she noted was that he called her 'a dog like yourself'. She wasn't sure what that meant, but sure as heck didn't intend to ask. Roadkill chuffed and said, "Good thing Oi ran into you 'ere, then, innit, to warn me 'bout 'em like the good chap you are." There was an irresistible itch along Roadkill's right ear, but she resisted the temptation to scratch it. Didn't seem like the brightest idea at the moment.
