Potema had become a wanderer at a young age. Voices whispered to her, beckoning the young princess away from her castle and off on adventures in the dark wolves that was her home. Her latest escapade began when she followed the strange, maternal voice that spoke to her the most. She called it "mama too", since it reminded her of her mother, naturally.
"Mama too" led the young princess to the northeast, towards the muddy smell that she sometimes scented on her mother. It tired her to walk so far with such small and weak legs, but she was two months old now, and stronger than before. Potema sank into the soft ground when she found the silent swamp that "mama too" told her to go. She wasn't sure why, but she followed the voice anyway. So far, the voices haven't led her to much danger, and as such, she had no reason to fear them.
When the princess regained her breath, she looked about at the silent land around her. It was very, very quiet, lacking the caws of ravens and crows, the howls of her packmates. Potema's indigo eyes widened as she waddled through the muck and found something unknown to her. A glowing ball of light dancing in the air. The girl squealed happily at the pretty sight, standing on her hind paws as she swept at it, only to fall. The light moved away at its own occur, heading deeper into the swamp. Potema scrambled up and followed it, unaware that it could potentially lead her to danger.
