Ankyra Sound If we die we die together

Never one to stray too far from her doppelgänger, Nesaea lurked just out of sight of Leucothoe, exploring the rocks at the base of one of the cliff faces of the Sound. She was becoming less and less tense as she spent more time within this new place, finding herself actually beginning to like it. She was still unsure of the Matriarch and the other sirens — not to mention the consorts — but if it was her mother's wish, she would try her best to please them.

After overturning her fair share of rocks and discovering a collection of oddities (that she had piled together to fetch and store somewhere later), the girl headed back along the shoreline to her sister, who had just emerged from the ocean with a gift draped along her shoulders. Nesaea quietly came up beside Leucothoe as she cleaned herself, studying the seaweed for a moment before drawing her tongue over the back of the other girl's ears, settling the sodden fur there. A movement caught her eye and gave her pause, though, and the youth looked up, focusing on a vibrant figure that was making its way down the cliffs.
