For @Jorunn!

Deep in the thicket of the grove, Pasha tore after a grouse.  The fowl had been originally caught off-guard by the inexperienced pup, but hadn't been caught.  Not that Pasha was interested in catching it by any means — though if he were to!  That thought alone had spurred him into giving it chase, and a chase was certainly what he was earning.  It stayed ahead of him just enough to keep his interest, not quite fast enough to entirely outpace the growing youth.  So at any rate, it was hoping to simply lose him through the still dense undergrowth of the woodland.

And lose him, it did.

While the grouse managed to elude Pasha by leading him into brambles, the young wolf felt he only lost it because he had become ensnared.  Not enough that he didn't think he could get out because lord forbid him having to call upon someone, but enough that he knew it had to be somewhat delicate.  Which delicate... wasn't entirely a word one would have attributed to the gangly Frostfur's descriptors.  For when he pulled one way, he felt pain pinch and pierce him in another direction.  And if he had known any creative and crass language, it would have surely been uttered then.  Instead a hushed whine followed him as he slowly worked with and against the thorns therein, and slowly Pasha began to work his way out.

At least he thought he was out, until the last remaining coil of what was none other than a raspberry plant seemingly had a supernatural grasp of his tail.
