It was apparent that they would not be returning to their former den site. They had been introduced to the much larger, more spacious area and told in a simple tongue that this was their new home. Sitamat wondered what had been so wrong with their previous home (not realising they had quickly outgrown it), but accepted this change with minimal complaint. He did enjoy the heated rocks compared to the cool dirt of their whelping den.

Still, now he had a whole new area to memorise and become familiar with. He had only just gotten to know the forest outside their old home, and now he had to do it all over again! The place was filled with nooks and crannies, a large clearing of rocks with an expanse of sky right above it. Sitamat stared up at it, peering at the dark swirling clouds above, before redirecting his focus back on a path he had found that led to the trees that rimmed the site. He did not follow it too far, unsure if his parents would approve of him wandering off just yet.
