The last few days had confused her. Greatly. She was probably more confused than she had been her whole life, and it was all because of someone. No, that was too cliche. She was confused because of other-worldly-forces. That was better. Never would she openly admit her miniscule feelings towards the ivory man, no, she didn't even embrace the fact herself. But he had, admitting he felt something too. But she shoved the memory back, refusing to acknowledge his presence in her life for just a bit longer. Alas, it was impossible. The pack hunt was bad enough, and she was immensely sure that at least someone suspected something. Not that she cared what they thought, except she did. It was bad for her image to be seen with lovey feelings or close to someone in that way. All the time she spent building up her walls, brick by freaking brick, were slowly crumbling under the emotional weight that Kove brang. It was horrible. At least she tried to tell herself that it was.

Her ears had flattened against her skull, not in hostility but frustration as she thumped too noisily through the sunken woods. Anyone within earshot would be able to hear her stomping, and know to stay well away at that time. Of course, while deep in her own thoughts did she block out every other senses that associated with the outside world. For now, she simply wanted to be left in peace, as simple as that. But Fate had something against her, as it always did.
