Alastor had been spending more of his time along the borders as of late, his intentions not to guard them, but because he was contemplating crossing them. Heading off into the world was not a foreign concept to him, but he knew that if he was to leave this time around, he would not return. It was due to the appearance of a face he'd nearly forgotten, the arrival of his brother a day or so back. He knew not how the other had managed to arrive within the land of Teekon, having not bothered with asking. The joy that had come with seeing his own flesh and blood again after so long had been overwhelming, placing a smile across his maw that was reluctant to leave. It was during that time that his brother had shared with him the knowledge of his life within North America, how he'd acquired a mate and a home, and had even become a father recently. It was the life he'd always hoped his brother would receive, and so when he'd been offered a place within the pack, he'd been unable to turn it down. Which, of course, had brought him to his current dilemma.

The foreigner could not go against the word he'd given to his brother. Naos was the last of his family that remained (as far as he knew), and so the idea of leaving him behind was enough to make the man's stomach churn. Thus, it was with a heavy heart he'd howled out for his pack mates, alerting them to the fact that he was leaving. The first to arrive would be given the details of his departure, why he was leaving and how he did not know if he'd ever return. Right after, Alastor would depart from the territory, crossing the threshold into unclaimed land and heading off to meet up with his brother once more. For now, his life in Teekon was over, and it was time for him to start anew with his blood family.
