He zeroes in on the killing blow of his second hunt attempt for the morning, and this one culminates in bloody success and rabbit screams. The golden Delta makes short work of silencing it then toting it to a nearby vantage point, and one not too far from a series of geysers. He could see them rise not long after he came into sight of them.
Dio settles on a quiet slab of stone and eats his fill, but over his meal, he maintains a watchful vigil and it stays quiet.
He is keenly aware in the perpetual motion the Dragon seems to inspire and suspects it is only the beginning of a greater whole. Possibilities of war loom, a healer turns up suspiciously ill, a new beta arises from seemingly (to him) nowhere, and he is consistently inspired enough by it to hold his footing. So, he knows, once he's finished and with the energy of a fresh kill, he will not be still for long. His rounds of their borderlands feel ceaseless.
He licks his lips, grooms his paws, then rises to shake his coat and effectively scattering the bones left of his rabbit. Afterward, he points his pathway to the west, skimming on along their southern edge into the early afternoon.
