She furrowed her brow, scrutinized him for a bit and then turned her gaze away, feeling disappointed. Men were all the same, weren't they? She forgot about the boot and dived into the pile of sea-weed and debris again, catching a scent of a rotting fish somewhere and therefore beginning to paw and dig with more intensity than before. The target of her actions probably did not escape her unwanted company.
