Despite how new everything was and how annoyed she might have been previously, Roscoe really liked her. She had given him more information than he had had before and treated him kindly soon after. It was easy to respect those that showed kindness over hostility any day. Roscoe was a relatively easy read and could see that Heloise already knew the basics about him. The whole coupling with any and all females was quite lost on him for the moment - he hadn't really met any girls that were absolutely a must-have but he also didn't have the drive to know what it meant to carry on a legacy.
