The huntress licked her chops, pleased that the mother had accepted her gift, and turned to leave. She would not stray too far, however. While many wolves protected Ursus' border (Revui, Toad, Evien, and Merrick Included), the Sister felt it her duty to patrol the inner circle and keep watch over the expectant woman. Though she would miss the drama Easthollow and Nightwalker wolves brought to their doorstep, Galena felt it was her place the guard the rook and her brood from hidden threats, especially those internal.
