  Eyes wide and tail twitching, the boy was going insane in the darkness. He looked over to Lexis and watched her sleeping body. To have someone with him made him more comforting. The sight of the girl made him feel at peace for once in his life. He looked up to see a tiny ray of light shinning through the boulder. Crescendo hasn't came to visit for a while now.

  Hold on... this is our chance!

  "Lexis," he whispered, "We need to get outta here!" He looked away from the black shape and attempted to stand on his feet for the first time in weeks. At first, he wobbled and stumbled over, due to his pounding head, but he got the hang of it and nearly ran to the boulder. He let out a weak howl of distress. He scraped his claws over the boulder and tried his best to push the boulder. Of coarse, he was way to weak and fell under his own weight.

  "HELP!," he screamed, "HELP US! WE'RE TRAPPED!" His paws slammed onto the boulder over and over again, producing loud noises. "PLEASE, SOMEONE! ANYONE!" He let out a weak cough and let his head droop. He felt like he wanted to sleep forever. "Please- help..."
