@Ford :)
Saucy had decided to stick around the shore with Dalia and Velen, and their little troupe. She’d yet to meet the other brothers that Velen had spoken of but she was in no rush, they had plenty of time to become acquainted. For now she was more concerned about something else; she was going to live by the sea and she had no idea how to fish. She could swim fine, her athletic yet not large build made that task easy. But she’d never had to fish before, she’d attempted for fun, but it’d never been necessary. Now, it felt like a given.
Luckily, Saucy wasn’t easily embarrassed or put off by this. If she needed to learn, she would do it, and do it with confidence (even though she’d likely look a fool trying). So on a warm autumn morning she went to find a tide pool, and with nothing but determination she locked her icy blue gaze on the water and waited for a fish to magically appear.

Mind a (couple'a) party crasher(s)?! Make that Bat, party of one!
She followed X as far north as possible and hit a wall—the ocean—without seeing any more signs of Ceara. When she and @Tegan had split up, she'd sensed his frustration and possibly even a touch of fear. But they were covering more ground now and though she missed her companion and sort of wished she could've gone with him, Bat enjoyed traveling solo for its own sake. She even made a lot of progress on her mental map.
As the youth milled along the coastline, wondering where to head next, Bat spotted a white figure in the distance, crouched over a tide pool off the edge of a large bay. From a sandy hillock overlooking the scene, the young scout shouted, "Hey!" in an attempt to capture the stranger's attention.
YES OF COURSE I LOVE BAT! also I haven't got a chance to thread with you yet so I'm v excited
A shouted 'hey' caught the white lioness's attention, with squinted eyes she reluctantly shifted her gaze from her tide pool. She found herself looking at a small gray figure standing on a nearby sand hill. Saucy briefly wondered if this was someone else she should know, one of the group she'd entered into. With that question in mind she shouted back,
Yo,as a greeting and then,
are you one of Velen's siblings?Normally the yearling would move from her spot to go meet the other, but she was afraid if she did she'd miss all the fish. Her attention was mostly captured by the female on the hill, but she glanced back to the water sporadically just to be sure.

It was the sound of a sharp – and young – voice that had pulled his attention from the waves. For a moment, the warhound thought that he had imagined it. That was until there was another voice that reached out in response to the first. Without hesitation, the titan turned himself toward the two callers and cupped his ears forward to collect anything else that might pass from them to the winds. The length of his strides was impressive, and he passed across the sandy beach like a shadow.
It was the unfamiliarity of a pale figure that struck his eye first. He slowed his pace and approached with a watchful gaze, waiting to see what the stranger was doing. Beyond that, there was a slightly smaller figure and a wild spark to the youngster's features. Ford peered at them with a narrow-eyed expression. His brow seemed to furrow over the mismatched gaze. The titan approached them and caught the tail end of the question that was issued by the paler of the two.
“No, but I am,” the brute intruded with a gruff baritone of a voice. He twisted his features upward to smirk at the unknown female, curious as to where Velen had found her.

She succeeded, though Bat didn't know what to make of the greeting she received in response. Velen? she mouthed, the name anything but familiar. Curiosity piqued nonetheless, she began to descend the slope, moving nearer to the pale stranger.
Only she stopped short, toes digging into the soft sands, when a third wolf joined the party. Bat's eyes widened. Not only was this particular wolf huge, his features were incredibly striking. The term "skeletal" didn't necessarily pop into the youth's mind, yet there was an eerie familiarity to his patterning. She stared openly, gaping a little, for a moment before catching herself.
She resumed her approach, albeit a little more slowly now, trying to keep both wolves in her view at once. She had no reason to distrust these strangers, it was mostly an instinct. Bat's body language telegraphed her own friendly intentions as she came to a stop a short distance away, wondering what the white wolf would say in response to the spooky fellow's grand entrance.

Saucy whirled around, fur bristling for a moment when she heard a deep voice. What, he surprised her! She let her ivory pelt lie flat not when she saw him, but when she registered what he said and decided he meant to harm. His appearance though was quite eerie, handsome but still. She glanced back to the other unknown female, who hadn’t said anything more. She assumed that this younger woman was not one of the siblings, so they were in the same boat.
She turned back to face the black and white male, forgetting completely about her fishing. She looked him over again, then gave him a laidback smile,

are you the one that spits acid or the one who makes you confess your sins with a look?she asked, referring to Velen’s descriptions of his brothers. She had a feeling it was the latter, unless Velen’s other bro was like the most intense wolf on the planet.

The warhound was not phased by the display of surprise on the pale wolf's coat. His eyes roamed the jagged hiking of her fur for only a moment. Amusement creased the brute's muzzle and lips, taking the form of a crooked smirk. It had not been his intention to surprise her, but he considered it a bonus in their short-lived interaction. Ford glanced toward the quiet, younger female. She hadn't said a word, but she had gaped at him for a long moment before closing some of the distance between them and keeping her posture friendly.
The pale one brought up an inquiry with a smile that reminded Ford of Rannveig. For a moment, he was forced to come to terms with the idea that there was a possibility of more like his stormcloud of a brother. The question that was posed hung in the air without answer for a moment. Then, the titan chuckled softly and shook his head. “Velen's descriptions?” he inquired in a knowing tone. “I suppose I'll let you decide for yourself.”
Ford then turned his attention back to the gray youth who had yet to say anything. He brought his mismatched gaze between the two of them with a few waves of his tail before he canted his skull to the right. “What brings you both here?”

Their exchange was almost poetic. Bat stood there staring, twitching slightly when the larger, brutish wolf looked her way and included her in an inquiry. She abruptly realized she hadn't said anything yet, simply stood off to the side like some kind of rubbernecking weirdo. She didn't know whether to feel amused or embarrassed, so she let out a self-deprecating chuckle.
"Sorry, I'm—" Something told her to go with yet another alias. Bat didn't really know why but she went with it. "Z. I'm out here looking for a she-wolf with red fur. Have you seen her, by any chance?"

the skeletal titan’s response brought a light hum to the girl’s lips, her tail began to swing at her hips. She tried to remember the name Velen had given, though it remained just out of reach. She settled for skull boy for now, though didn’t say it out loud. For a moment she got caught up looking at him, just wondering what his parents must’ve looked like to produce his crazy markings. She remembered that she wasn’t the only other there when he used the word both, she turned again to see the gray female as she replied to his question.
She introduced herself as Z, huh weirdo name, Saucy decided bluntly (except her name was saucy sooo). The next part she took a little more seriously, as it seemed Z’s reason for joining them was because someone was missing. Saucy hated not being able to help, like how she’d felt when she couldn’t aid Indra in finding Lucas. Lucas, she’d forgotten about him until now, her promise to keep an eye out for him. A gust of guilt pushed past her, but like all gusts it was fleeting, and she reminded herself that there was little she could’ve done to help in that situation. Maybe this one would be different, or maybe it wasn’t even that serious.

Don’t think so, what happened to her?she asked. Quickly she remembered that Ford had prompted her for an introduction as well, and so her head swung back to face him and she said,
I’m Saucy by the way. With a swift roll she looked back Bat, a more serious face stamped over her usual easygoing smile.

The younger one seemed uncomfortable. She spent a good deal of time gaping between the warhound and the pale stranger, before she decided she had the gumption to speak up. Ford peered at her with a curious quirk above his dark eye. The girl introduced herself as Z and claimed that she was searching for a red woman. The titan forced an expression of thoughtfulness onto his face. His dark lips curled downward as he roamed his memory of the past week or more. Finally, he shook his head to her and offered an apologetic expression.
“Haven't seen anyone like that around these parts,” he explained to Z. “But I can certainly keep an eye out. What's this red wolf called? I'll tell them Z was looking for them if I happen to cross paths.”
The pale stranger with the ringed tail seemed as though she hadn't run into Z's friend either. Ford thought it peculiar that someone so young would be out on the hunt for another wolf. He wondered if the red wolf was a member of the young woman's family. Before he had a chance to inquire, the ring-tail wolf introduced herself as Saucy. The warhound pulled his attention away from Z and latched his gaze on the other.

"Nothing," Bat replied, "hopefully. She's just been gone too long..." She trailed off there, trying not to make a face in response to the woman's introduction. What kind of name was Saucy? Fortunately, their masculine counterpart spoke then, drawing the youth's attention and causing her expression to grow thoughtfully blank.
Man, she really needed to work on her strategy when it came to falsifying information. For a moment, Bat's lips pressed together, stumped on what to say to Ford's words. Eventually, she managed to say, "Her name's Ceara. She doesn't know me that well, so if you do see her, just tell her to head back to the Redhawks, like, stat." There, that worked.
And now? Bat really wanted to scoot on out of there, yet she was still intrigued by these wolves and their mutual connection (whose name sounded like Villain to Bat's big ears). Not to mention their surroundings. She had grown up beside the sea and this harbor reminded her of the sound not far from Drageda. That fact made her simultaneously want to linger here a while and skip town, pronto.
"I'm going to keep searching," she eventually announced, regretting that their tale would unfold no further for her. But Bat really did need to keep looking for Ceara; that bit was entirely true. "Thanks, guys. See you around." Well... that probably wasn't true. But before Bat could bat an eyelash at her own faux pas, she scuttled away like a crab and disappeared over another dune.

Gone too long was never a good thing, particularly gone too long without an announced departure. Saucy wished them the best, that this red wolf would be found quickly. Skull boy hadn’t seen her either, Saucy nodded in agreement when he said he’d keep an eye out. It was in fact the least she could do, but it was something.
In response to her introduction, the man introduced himself as Ford. The lightbulb sparked in the back of her mind, and it lit her eyes for a moment as she made the connection between him and his brother’s words. She was right, he was the one who makes you confess your sins, Ford. Next they were given more information on Ceara from Z, and then the younger female was out, apparently eager to return to searching.
Tourmaline eyes watched the water, it’s soft rumblings that sent ripples to the edge where she stood.

Good luck, see ya round!she called in a friendly tone. Saucy watched, her tail swaying as Z disappeared beyond the dunes, and then looked back to the pool at her feet.

So according to Velen and Dalia you’re starting a pack here? They said I could join you, just throwing that out there, she said, with a toothy grin sent his way. That was her way of saying, lets get to know each other cause you’re stuck with me now!

The younger one seemed as though she had her thoughts elsewhere. Ford wasn't about to scold her for her abrupt arrival and departure. Instead, the warhound watched as she scuffled off and left them with only a small snippet of information regarding the person she had been looking for. The titan wasn't at all certain that he had ever crossed someone with red fur, but he thought it was easy enough to keep on the back of his mind. He most certainly would not have allowed it to overtake his typical daily actions.
As it was, Saucy turned to him and mentioned that Velen had done a bit of recruiting. Ford was grateful that his brother had stepped up and gone searching for potential loners. It showed that the witty brother was invested more than he might have shown. The skeletal brute created a pleasant smile that stretched along his dark lips and pulled them back. Around his eyes, there were crinkles, but it still seemed as though the black and white gaze of the sea wolf was hollow and lacking of any emotion.
“We are. I take it you're interested in joining us, then? If you've come here after only hearing about us. We'd certainly appreciate the help,” he answered confidently, sweeping his tail behind him a few times out of encouragement.
After exchanging more information in which Saucy clarified she was interested in joining, Ford lead Saucy back home.
