All Welcome
sea swept, seasmoke makes his way up the coast, never straying too far inland if he can help it. and thankfully, aside from a stray storm here or there, there had never been anything worse that has chased him to seek shelter.

the seafarer weaves among the towering coconut palms, eyeing the fruit that has fallen to the sands; pausing to soak in the warmth of the morning sun as it sits in the cloudless sky.

when he finds a smaller fruit, he slides down to lay sphinx like on the sand, holding it between his paws as he works on cracking the shell of the coconut open.

Less than pleased with the grains of sand working their way into the nooks and cranny's of her paw pads and claws Leto was quick to move along, her intention being to leave the odd area as quickly as possible. This sort of environment was unfamiliar, and rarely suited her well.

However her irritation was quickly glazed over at the sight of another creature similar to herself not too far ahead. She was never one to be cautious with other's, often rushing in with a thousand questions, however the item between their paws caught her attention. Just what were they doing with it?

the coconut shell gives way, cracking beneath the power of his jaws. coconut milk is sweet as it trickles into his mouth with the tear — and resulting spit of the top of the fruit's shell.

it is then that seasmoke realizes he has company.

she half blends into the light colored sand, but he notices her all the same; staring at him.

ye want some coconut, lassie? asks the sveijarn. s' nae gourmet but it's nae bad.

Leto was surprised, but rushed over all the same after hearing the invitation.

So it was food - possibly. She never would have guessed that the hard shells she had passed were anything but something to stub your toes on.

"They're edible?" She blinked at the stranger, quick to lay down in front of him with her head lowered to analyze the odd fruit.
