Pump hadn't actually meant to share the leg with Kennedy, therefore she looked a bit surprised, when he began to eat it. What she had wanted to tell him was that this particular scent was the key of survival here at the shores. If he was able to track down this - he would never starve. Therfore all the time he ate, she followed with her eyes every single sliver of meat that disappeared in the newcomer's mouth, contemplating, whether she should have been that generous or told him off, when the time was right.

After he had finished, she cast one last mournful glance at the now fleshless "foot" and sighed. Oh well... good thing he did not know, where the good pieces were hidden. That was a little relief. "You don't have to," she told him. Pump did not like to be indebted to people and for some reason she did not like that people thought they owed her anything. She was not nice and wanted to stick to that.

"Remember the smell - you can find plenty of these at the shores," she told him and smiled, but kept back the small, significant fact that you had to know the right spot. A good scavenger never reveals it's best hunting ground. "Go on - I will stick around here. Got some business to do," she let him go, happy that this awkward intercourse was over. It seemed just the right time to have some rest.
