All Welcome
Planning wasn't Siggy's strongsuit, though this had rarely been a disadvantage. Until now. Well, she'd sort of had a vague plan to travel West until she hit the ocean. And look! There was the ocean! So that part had worked out.

But this part... The white wolf canted her head downwards and to the side, eyeing the jagged ledge that she was so precariously perched upon. She carefully lifted her head and directed her gaze over her shoulder, doing her best not to shift her weight too much. She was a Mountain Wolf, she knew better than to get herself into these situations. But she'd assumed she could find the path down to the beach as she went. It was something she was accustomed to doing back home, but this jagged cliff was nothing like the mountains of her birth place. The footing was less predictable, and Siggy was most decidedly stuck.

A low huff left the skinny girl's lips. If the ledge were just a little wider she'd have enough footing to hoist herself back up onto the rocky ground behind her. But she didn't dare move enough to turn around. She could smell other wolves, a pack most likely, somewhere to her South. A short, somewhat sheepish yip left her lips, a plea for help. If someone could get to the base of the cliffs, they could help her navigate the rest of the way down. But from where she stood, she had no way of knowing where she was placing her feet.

Good one, Siggy.

(( @Vlad and anyone else who wants to join! ))

For Vlad, Sigfrid's predicament was an opportunity.

He had decided to stay within howling distance of the the Sound in case @Rosalyn needed anything - although there was not much he could offer if she took a turn for the worse. It was low tide, and the Russian was patrolling the beach, hoping for visitors to charm. He had successfully recruited Caoimhe, and the fact that so sweet and lovely a wolf would even give him the time of day had boosted Vlad's confidence considerably.

And here was another such damsel - lovely to behold and very much in need of assistance.

Vlad stepped back from the cliff so that he could see her better and set his tail a-waggin'. "'EY. THEES CLEEF NO GUD FOR WULF," Well, obviously.

Ee!

It didn't take long for a pack wolf to spot her predicament and approach. The girl nearly sagged with relief, particularly when she noted the man's affable demeanor, even if she couldn't understand his words through his accent. Had there been less distance between them she might have been able to understand him, but their distance coupled with the low, constant roar of the ocean and the sighing of the wind made such things impossible. Even so, it seemed he was here to help.

Thank the gods.

"Can you see a path?" she called down, raising her voice in an effort to be heard clearly. Her own tail wagged once as a sign of her gratitude for his presence. She might have lowered her head in deference had she not been nervous that doing so would upset her balance. Her hope was that this stranger might be able to see a path that she could not. If there was just a place that she could set her paws off the ledge without the rock giving way beneath her, she'd be able to carefully pick her way down to the sand.

"Can you see a path?"

Vlad considered trading a way down for loyalty to Saltwinter, but they were no longer that desperate for members. Instead he studied the cliff-face, trying to look like a professional at work but managing only to channel the look of a toddler staring at a car engine. "Meck JAMP to wulf left," he eventually declared, thinking that if Sigfrid could get to the ledge a few feet below her, she would be able to wind her way down to the beach with relative ease. "No, ees not so - wulf right," the Russian amended, slumping into a sit with his head tilted up to see what Sigfrid would make of these most excellent instructions.
