This place was dull. At least the gorge had been exciting, giving him a good dose of adrenaline. Here did the complete opposite. The boring terrain could lull him into sleep. At least he didn't have to worry about dying here. A snort left him at the thought.

His pace was rather relaxed as he moved through the plains. He was pretty sure he saw a mountain (or at least the start of one) in the distance. Perhaps that was where he would aim to go to wait out these storms — if it wasn't just the clouds playing tricks on him.

I'll make a dice thread. Roll for hit successes? First to land three wins? No major damage?

The storms had her on edge, the tales her haha had told her about the demons that come out to play during violent storms making her fur bristle. She was so on edge and paranoid that she walked slowly and scanned every detail in the distance before continuing onward. It had been quiet for since entering this area but almost as soon as she was beginning to ease up there was a crack of thunder and the skies opened, pouring rain.

On top of this to set her off she spotted the mud and dirt covered figure (in the flashes of lightning looking like a twisted demon) up ahead and she immediately began to snarl and stalk forward, planning the quickest way to attack. Falling silent as she stalked she kept to the shadows, freezing and crouching low whenever lightning struck to limit her visibility and then moving forth when it fell dark again. Using a boom of thunder to her advantage shs bolted forward and lunged for his headquarters without a single sound. This had been part of her teachings, strike swiftly and silently.

He felt it first and then a snarl bubbled in his throat. Kalganov didn't bother looking for who or what it was that had latched onto his ass. His ass. Really? They couldn't have picked anywhere else? He would huff and sigh about that later.

His jaws opened as his hackles raised. Ivory teeth aimed for their face. He wanted to grab their flesh and was undecided on how badly he'd break skin if he caught it. Perhaps Kalganov would get lucky and grab onto a tender eye. But he would settle for anything as long as he could make a point that he was not going to roll over and take this.

Kalganov was a wolf deserving of many things but not this.

Failed hit!

Whatever she had meant to grab it had not been a mouthful of buttcheek. Perhaps a leg or the tail but not his ass. If ever asked she would deny that she took a chunk from someone's rear end. When he retaliated she managed to lift her head just in time for his fangs to slice a nice slash across her muzzle, the wound smarting immediately. Of course now she realised she had mistakenly bitten another wolf who completely did not deserve the attack. Shit she cursed inwardly but then realized he had marked up her face, her beautiful face.

Snarling she backed away and circled him, he must be punished for marking her beauty. As she reached his side she went in, ducking low and attempting to bite at his belly.

PP ending with permission

As soon as she struck his belly and bit in, the male seemed to have had enough. He leaped away, snarled with flattened ears and then bolted. Minori didn't chase him down, she never did unless they did something bad enough to make her that angry. She licked the blood from her maw and snorted, continuing onward to find shelter from the storms .
