All Welcome
The tension between the wolves on the mountain was palatable — almost as if it could be cut with a knife. She knew about Amekaze and Charon's spat, and that the patriarch had taken a sabbatical from their home to seemingly clear his head. And if she was being honest, Lyra didn't blame him. Hydra was even more testy and hostile than usual, and their mother more guarded than ever before, while Lyra herself had an inner unrest and frustration that she couldn't shake.

When pacing the borders became too repetitive and dull, the girl took a leaf from Charon's book and split from the territory for a short while. She longed to travel to Easthollow and reconvene with Alya. The very thought of her sister made her heart ache. However, it only felt right if she and Hydra went, but they couldn't right now. Not in this state.

Still, Lyra headed in Easthollow's direction, stopping as she found herself in the middle of a meadow of long grasses, facing the mountains that acted as a barrier between here and there. Without them, it would have been a much quicker trip between the two territories. Distance wouldn't be such an obstacle and the trio would be together far more often. Like before. As she stared, she suddenly felt angry tears prick at the corner of her eyes and realised, for the first time ever, she was feeling alone.

Now that @Wildfire was back to being able to be out and watching things, Kiwi was able to duck out for a minute and feel okay doing so.  She didn't have a whole lot of interest in going far, but she didn't mind the idea of going a ways.  She needed a mini break, as awesome as leadership was.  She totally had it on lockdown.

As she wandered across the meadows and forests, she began to run, and she kept running as she passed the mountains.  If she pushed herself, she could see how far she got in a day, then return the next.

Instead, she was gone a few days.  Just a few! She was further south definitely than she intended to go, and definitely needed to head back.  But just as she was thinking that, she heard something.

It was another wolf! She straightened (despite breathing heavily, she'd been running all day again) and jogged to meet them, hopefully.  She didn't know if it was actually worth her time, but she could always afford to know more about the places around.
Kiwi will internalize lies and twist things to her benefit until this becomes her reality.  Her thoughts are not my own <3
