Though the other wolves of the Spine had mentioned the Quarry that was of importance to their village in passing, Aiwë would've been chagrined to admit that she hadn't set foot there since Sialuk had first found her -- a runaway who had eagerly pledged herself to the cause of strangers just to satiate the need to leave behind who she had been and become someone else entirely. Perhaps that was what had kept her confined to Moonglow for so long, the green-paw content to stay hidden away in their tribe's claim as she settled into the skin of Lótë.

She was more confident these days, at home amongst her packmates -- and was particularly glad that she had found friends in @Kukutux, @Sialuk, and @Adrastus (tags for reference) -- which led her to take to exploring the Wilds near their home more thoroughly as she gained courage.

The dove decided it would be best to visit the rocky cliffs by the light of the moon, when the moonstones would be at their most enchanting illumination but would refrain from climbing along the cliffs -- lest she slip in the dark. She slowed to a walk as she neared the iridescent cliffs, casting a green gaze full of admiration along the rock walls as she searched for any sign of life amongst the stones.
